During August we had the sad news that Tony Hunn, a former captain of the club, had passed away. Tony had moved away from the area but was fondly remembered by club members.
On 7th September the Club paid tribute to Tony with a special running of The Hunn Run; one of Tony’s favourite routes and named for him. We met near the Black Prince Gate where Club Secretary Mike Shipway, paid tribute to Tony and we shared memories with members of Tony’s family. We then set off, in socially distanced waves, following the 10mile route. On a wonderful sunny morning, it was a fitting tribute to Tony.
