James Bolton led us home from Dean Sheppard with Rob Linnell making an appearance after a long lay-off. Sharron Sheppard and Gillian Howell earned 3rd places in the LV35 & LV45 categories respectively. Paula Booth had an excellent debut run. Winning time: 21:37 Number of finishers:307

Saturday – 7th June 2008 – Otmoor Challenge Half Marathon (Multi-Terrain)
Another steady run by Rich Beaumont gave him 5th position whilst Gillian Howell had a great run to beat her last year’s time by 12 minutes and take 2nd LV40 honours. James Bolton also did well bearing in mind he competed in a triathlon in the morning. It was good to see Jon Hill making a welcome return. Winning time: 1:16:11 Number of finishers: 300 approx.

There was a poor Club turn-out for this Oxon Grand Prix event with only 11 Harriers taking part. James Bolton and Rich Beaumont battled to lead us home whilst Hans Price & Tracey Scarlett posted personal bests. Mike Shipway took 1st V60 honours. Winning time: 32:11 Number of finishers: 853
